It is hard to believe we are starting to wind down the school year already! The school year has definitely gone by fast. The students in kindergarten have had an action-packed and fun learning year so far.
In October we learned about fire safety. We enjoyed a visit from the firemen. Waldvogel’s Farm was a great field trip that we took this past fall. Going on a hayride and picking out pumpkins was a lot of fun!
In November, for Veterans Day, US Army Reservist, Kyle Schick spoke to the kindergarten class. We learned so much about his six-month deployment to Afghanistan in 2013. Some of the students were able to try on some army ‘gear’.
Our 4th grade kinder-buddies visit our classroom once a week. We have done lots of activities together this year such as reading, creating, and building. We love kindergarten!
Thanks for visiting!
